Why I built DudeShots
Every time I shipped something, the last step was the same chore: take a screenshot, open a design tool, find a browser frame, fiddle with a gradient, line everything up, export, then realise the text was blurry. Twenty minutes for one image, multiplied across a landing page, a launch post and a few social cards. DudeShots started as my own fix for that and turned into a product because friends kept asking for the link.
And yes, about the name…
And yes, about the name. No, DudeShots is not a gay porn site. It is screenshots, made by a dude, for other dudes and non-dudes who need their app to look good in a browser frame. The domain was available, it made me laugh, and it is very easy to remember, which turns out to be most of what you want from a product name.
What it does
Drop in a screenshot, or paste a URL and DudeShots captures the page for you, cookie banners removed and fonts settled. Frame it in real browser, phone or MacBook chrome, or leave it bare. Pick a background, choose a look, add feature callouts and a watermark, then export at a resolution that stays sharp on a retina screen. The whole loop takes under a minute.

Pro is five pounds a month and unlocks everything else: the full background library, all looks, every template, shaped shadows and saved presets. Nothing is hidden from free users, you can see every option before you decide.
The screenshot should take less time than the feature it shows.
