I built DispuPoint because my HOA went silent on me
DispuPoint is an Illinois HOA and condo dispute assessment service. I started it after my own board went silent on me. I sent the emails, sent a formal records request, and got nothing back but a form reply that answered none of it. If you have lived that, you know the exact kind of tired I mean.

Why I built this
I am not a lawyer. My background is avionics, the kind of work where one missed detail has real consequences. So when my HOA dispute hit a wall, I did what that training taught me: I stopped reacting and started reading the statutes, the bylaws, the whole record. The board was counting on me not doing that.
An unanswered formal demand proves everything.

What is DispuPoint?
You send us your situation. We read it against Illinois law and your association's own documents, then tell you what you actually have. The real value is not the letter at the end. It is that we surface the violations most homeowners never knew to look for, the ones sitting in plain sight in the bylaws.
One flat fee, $249 per case. Here is what that actually buys, because it is not just a letter:
- A full assessment of your case against Illinois HOA or condo law
- A demand letter that leads with your single strongest claim
- Rebuttal support when the board writes back
- An escalation dossier built for whatever comes next
How does it work?
Under the hood, an AI pipeline reads your case in layers, checks it against the right Illinois statute, and drafts the assessment. Then it stops. Nothing reaches you until I have read it myself, top to bottom, every case. The AI does the heavy reading. A human makes the call.

- Submit your case through a short intake form
- Get a free assessment, human-reviewed, before you pay anything
- If it is winnable, unlock the full engagement for $249
- We send the demand letter, leading with your strongest claim
- When the board writes back, we help you rebut
- If it needs to escalate, you already have the dossier ready
What makes it different?
Most tools generate a letter. That is the easy part. The hard part, the part that wins, is knowing an HOA falls under CICAA while a condo association falls under the Illinois Condominium Property Act, and that citing the wrong one sinks your case on sight. We get that right, and we find the leverage you did not know you had.
Organization is leverage.

Who's behind it?
Me. One person. I read every case that comes through, I write the review that goes out, and my email is not a support queue that routes to nobody. If you reach out, you get me. That is the whole point of building it this way.
Plainly: DispuPoint costs $249 per case, works only in Illinois, and gives you a free human-reviewed assessment before you pay a cent.
It is live and taking cases right now. I am one homeowner who got tired of being ignored and built the tool I wish I'd had. If your board is doing to you what mine did to me, that is exactly who this is for.
